10-15-14 Feature Story:
As health centers are facing a potential reduction of up to 70% in federal funding set to take place in 2016, our collective advocacy efforts need to be reinforced prior to the upcoming elections. Between October 27 - October 31, the League joins NACHC in requesting that community health centers contact their respective Members of Congress via phone, email, and in writing to make as big an impact as possible. If every board member, staff member, patient, and community supporter of health centers reaches out to Congress in this one week, our collective voice will be strengthened. Communicate with your Members of Congress why access to primary health care at community health centers is so critical.
