 29th Annual Awards Gala

The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers honored Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Congressman Michael Capuano with "Community Health Center Team Player" awards at its 29th annual awards gala, "A League of Our Own".

The annual event celebrates the work and mission of the Commonwealth’s 48 community health centers, which provide primary and preventive health care to more than 600,000 low-income uninsured and Medicaid-eligible individuals, children, and families across Massachusetts.  Each year, the League recognizes health center employees and public servants for their dedication and commitment to the vulnerable patients health centers serve, and to promoting community health across the Commonwealth.
