Over
300 attendees joined in this year’s Community Health Center Day at
the State House. The event attracted the largest number of
state representatives and senators in the three years since the event
was first launched. The all-day event focused on an exhibit fair
highlighting the wide range of programs and services Massachusetts
health centers provide to vulnerable populations.

on the event’s past success, plans currently are underway to expand
the agenda for next year. Initial ideas include organizing education
sessions for members that run throughout the day, and developing
formal group presentations for legislators and their policy staff on
the key role health centers play in expanding access to primary care
for vulnerable populations across the state. |
