Organizational Membership: Open to community health
centers defined as non-profit facilities that deliver primary health care to defined
populations and that have consumer policy, advisory, or governing boards. Massachusetts
Health Care for the Homeless Programs that meet with the requirements of Section 330 of
the U.S. Public Health Service Act and Massachusetts Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker
Health Programs that meet with the requirements of Section 330 of the U.S. Public Health
Service Act are eligible for Organizational Membership.
Organizational Membership Dues: Dues: 0.1% of
Total Revenue
FY 2007 Dues minimum at $1,935
FY 2007 Dues capped at $9,026

- Publications: League newsletters, informational and
technical bulletins, and other publications
- Inclusion in Directory of Massachusetts Community Health
Centers, League member listings, listservs, and on-line listings
- Direct organizational links to Leagues Website
- Allowed to participate and receive results of surveys and
health systems analyses
- Sharing in data generated (such as Marketplace Analysis;
Economic Engine Analysis)
- Support on diverse technical topics: federal policy issues;
state policy issues; capital projects (through CHCCF and Capital Link); clinical
recruitment and retention
- Access to League sponsored Shared Services: Group Purchasing
Program; After Hours Multi-Lingual Telephone Answering Service; and others
- Technical assistance with an array of operational, policy
and clinical issues including rates, fundraising, and contractual relationships with
funding agencies
- Discounts to League sponsored conferences and trainings
- Two full registrations for the price of one to the League
Annual Meeting and Annual Primary Care Conference
- Eligibility to apply for certain grants i.e.: NHP
Enhancement Fund grant
- Various membership benefits from organizations joined by the
League including informational materials, programs and publications discounts
- Voting Privileges Organizational members four
representatives to the League Corporation vote each year for the Leagues Board of
Directors. These four representatives automatically become Individual Members of the
League at no charge; Representatives eligible to be elected to Leagues Board of
Directors
- Corporate representatives eligible to serve on League
standing and special committees; Standing Committees include: Boston Conference, Clinical
Issues, Education, Governmental Affairs, and Program
- Organizational Member staff and board are eligible to
nominate and be nominated for Leagues Annual Awards and other recognition
- Membership plaque and other membership recognition
- Access to up-to-date community health center mailing list
