Workforce Development - Recruitment & Retention
Massachusetts community health
centers offer exciting opportunities for individuals seeking positions in a dynamic and
mission-driven environment.
In an effort to match candidates with
the right community health center, the League distributes a "Personnel Referral
Bulletin" to Massachusetts health centers, public health organizations,
human services coalitions and policymakers across the state on a
monthly basis. This PRB lists a range of opportunities and resources that include:
Candidates, Non-Clinical Vacancies, Clinical Vacancies, Consultant Roster, News and
Events.
The League also actively recruits physicians, nurses, nurse
practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, dentists and mental health
professionals who desire to work with medically underserved populations in community
health centers across Massachusetts. As a direct referral source for the National Health Service Corps of the U.S. Public
Health Service, the League also assists candidates who seek to participate in loan
repayment or National Health Service Corps Scholarship programs. The use of a
recruitment database enables League staff to efficiently respond to candidates and fill
vacancies within health centers.
