CHC Provider Loan Repayment Program

The CHC Provider Loan Repayment Program application cycle is NOW CLOSED.

The Massachusetts Community Health Center Primary Care Provider Loan Repayment Program is managed by the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. Loan repayment funding was made possible through Chapter 224 of the Acts of 2012: An Act Improving Quality of Health Care and Reducing Costs Through Increased Transparency, Efficiency and Innovation and was awarded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health through a contract to the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. Program management support is funded by Partners HealthCare System, Inc. The statewide program is intended to increase the capacity of health centers to provide primary care by enhancing the availability of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. This initiative is intended to support the expansion of primary care capacity at all Massachusetts community health centers. The program offers school loan repayment to primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who make a two-year commitment to practice at one of the state's eligible community health center organizations.
