The Mass League Congratulates Greg Wilmot on Being Named CEO of Community Health Centers in Vermont 

The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (Mass League) congratulates Greg Wilmot on being named the next Chief Executive Officer of Community Health Centers (CHC) in Burlington, Vermont. 

While we are excited to see Greg bring his leadership and experience to Vermont, this transition also gives us an opportunity to recognize, and say thank you for, his many contributions to our movement, as well as the communities we serve across Massachusetts. 

Most recently, Greg served as Interim Chief Operating Officer of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, bringing his experience, energy, and commitment to advancing the work of health centers throughout the Commonwealth. 

His service to Massachusetts spans many years and many of the Commonwealth’s leading healthcare organizations, including NeighborHealth, Mass General Brigham, Boston Medical Center, and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. 

Whether leading in government, hospitals and health systems, payer organizations, or as CEO of one of the nation’s largest community health centers, Greg’s work has centered on a consistent purpose: expanding access to care, improving quality and the patient experience, and building strong, sustainable organizations capable of serving their communities for generations to come. He did this while focusing on people and community. 

Throughout his career, he has helped organizations grow and strengthen their impact; achieve nationally recognized improvements in quality and patient experience; expand access through new facilities, programs, and models of care; advance value-based care and innovation; invest in the healthcare workforce and leadership diversity; and respond to some of the most significant public health challenges facing our communities. 

We are grateful for everything Greg has contributed to Massachusetts and especially thankful for his leadership and service to the Mass League during this important chapter. 

Vermont is gaining a proven healthcare leader, an innovator, and a passionate champion for community health. 

Congratulations, Greg. Thank you for your years of service to Massachusetts. We look forward to watching you begin this exciting next chapter of leadership at Community Health Centers.
