Since their creation in the 1960s, community health centers have continually evolved to meet the needs of their communities. Innovation and advocacy are critical components of their evolution and ability to serve more than one million Massachusetts residents. Through its health equity and clinical quality initiatives, the Mass League helps its members address health inequities, target health disparities, and improve patient health.
