Our strategy is to leverage the collective power and purchasing strength of CHCs to drive the industry to put accessible health care at the forefront – and not as an afterthought. Only then will these tools truly work for health centers and the communities they serve.
By fostering AI solutions that center health access and aim to help our communities overcome persistent disparities, we can ensure that our health centers and the patients we care for aren’t on the wrong side of the digital divide.
The Mass League AI Playbook is live!
Our AI-Strategy-to-Implementation Playbook is a vital component of our collective response to innovation and a key mechanism for operationalizing the Mass League’s broader Collective Action Strategy to Shape AI for CHCs. Rooted in evidence and extensive engagement with health center members, it translates strategy into action by helping health centers evaluate, adopt, and govern AI in ways that are grounded in workforce education, patient trust, and a clear commitment to putting mission, people, and community first.
Moving our AI Strategy Forward
Our strategy is grounded in shared learning, shared standards, and action—because the health center movement has always stepped in to shape systems that impact our communities. AI is no different. This strategy is for CHCs, and it must be built with CHCs.
Here’s how you can engage:
- Bring us into your conversations: Loop our team when you meet with AI vendors in your health centers or virtually so we can learn from you, support you, and elevate shared insights across the network.
- Share your AI and digital transformation points of contact: Send us contact information for staff involved in this space—IT, clinical, operations, data, quality, etc. We’ll add them to our new HigherLogic community for updates and shared learning.

The Mass League AI strategy is an initiative under the HRSA-funded Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN). The HCCN spearheads initiatives to advance a wide range of health IT improvement projects among community health centers.
AI Vetted Vendor Portfolio
The HCCN has curated a list of trusted AI vendors that are in use at multiple health centers across the state. These vendors offer low cost, pilot programs, or promise return on investment. These vendors are offering solutions that address the current health center pain points to help improve operational and clinical efficiencies.
