Strategic Leadership
The Government Affairs and Public Policy Team provides strategic leadership on local, state, and federal regulatory and policy issues impacting community health centers and their patients, including:
- Working in partnership with health centers to develop annual policy solutions, agendas, and advocacy campaigns to ensure health centers have the resources to provide comprehensive, accessible, high-quality care to meet the needs of their patients and communities while simultaneously promoting health equity for all.
- Supporting health centers on a broad array of training and technical assistance domains, including financial, billing, health care access, value-based payment/care, and more.
- Mobilizing to support and align health centers and the state and federal governments in times of crisis and emergency to ensure that the communities health centers serve are adequately represented and resourced to respond.
