Supporting Providers Through Loan Repayment
The education-related costs required to become a health care professional are significant. The Mass League administers several student loan repayment programs that are funded through a mix of federal and state funds. Providers must commit to the program’s guidelines, which may include a defined period of employment at an eligible setting or practice of a critical specialty. Student loan repayment programs enable providers to continue to do the work they love at community health centers and other settings with provider shortages.

MA Repay Program
Student loan repayment program offering up to $300K for a variety of health and human service professionals in Massachusetts in exchange for a service commitment to their field
Massachusetts Loan Repayment Program
Student loan repayment program offering up to $50K for primary care, oral health, behavioral health, and substance use disorder treatment professionals who commit to serving in health professional shortage areas
DSRIP Statewide Investment Program
Loan repayment and learning opportunities for primary care providers and behavioral health clinicians (no longer accepting applications)
